Upon seeing a post from a young man

Upon seeing a post from a young man

Hold yourself
Every chance you get
Because no one
Will ever hold you
The way you deserve
To be held
LooAnd loved

The world is full of people
Who are emotion vampires
Who will remove you
By the gallon
They may have started
Their negations from your birth
They are so obsessed
With themselves that
They teach you how not
To be you
They form you into molds
They constructed long before
You uttered a sound
Who are you without the mold
That surrounds you

As you age
You'll gradually discover
The locks that aren't
Easily opened
Destroy the hinges
Destroy the locks
And keys
Look at their controls
Just puffs of air
Clouds of their pains
Mountains they make you climb
No one is a victim
That doesn't accept
Their victimhood
